i did some research last night for my friend, who says the missle destroyer is better than the destroyer and that the havy cruiser could beat a dreadnought. i learned that the heavy cruiser has a whopping 20,000 firepower points, while the dreadnought has only 24,000. in dollers, that's 24 grand. another way to say that is 24K. and since gold is pure when it has 24 karots, or 24K, that proves that a dreadnought is made of pure gold!

destroyers have 10,500 firepower, and mds only have 8,500. so you see, destroyers CAN and DO anaillate mds. 'nuff said.

a missile D has 100% coverage and a dd has like, 33%. this means i will stay in your blind spot as much as possible all the while my missiles chew you up. you could kill a dd with a md and have half life left if your decent at piloting.

the missle destroyer doesn't even have coverage! but the destroyer has 35% coverage, plus two ion cannons! read the chart:

200,000 mass, 8500 f-power, 42,000 armor, no coverage, low maneuverability, 295 miles/second, and special missle volley attack.
although its total firepower is significantly less than that of a regular destroyer, the guided missles it launches make the missle destroyer a formidible foe to strike craft and capital ships alike. for supply, the missle destroyer has a full missle manufactoring center in its belly.

destroyer.
185,000 mass, 10500 f-power, 44,000 armor, 35% coverage, low maneverability, 315 m/s, and no special function.
when it comes to taking down other capital ships, the destroyer is a first choice. it has twin ion cannons and two motified large turrets. with maneuverability almost equal to a frigite, th destroyer is able to move around well in combat and react quikly to changes in the battle.


if that doesn't put the debate to rest, it will never stop.

yes i believe stats and i know stats aren't the best im actually starting to believe you guys. ok, the missle destroyer is better than destroyer (i used to believe that in the first place, dont know why i changed.) but i dont use caps to destroy other caps i use caps to kill the enemy motherships, ok?
