Your Defining Moments In HW

defining moment:
beating Fornax in a 2 hour ladder game on radial with 3 assaults and 3 multies vs his 1 DD and 1 sup which resulted in me going back to work 2 hours late, but it was worth it cuz that game broke his huge 56 winning streak. after that game, I knew I could take on the best of them and maybe make it up to #1 on the ladder;)

Well afther 2 years playing HW i have got lots of definitive moments in HW but i will b short:

1- The first time i beat Hivemind (he was 1#) in ladder, Map: Subju, he swarmed and forgot to kill me a colector what afhter i did gravs and i beat him, i get 14#

2- Beating Joe (He was 2#) in Talas (ladder game)

3- 3 vs 3 Game in Battle Star, i get 2 smurff allyes (skilled and nether know who were) and we were playing vs 3 skilled players) the 3 members of my team we did caps, the other 3 guys did a full hudge swarm of vettes and fighters, i did the first battle with one of my allyes the third was in a corner building stuff (i was thinking he was newb)
Well we lost the battle and all the caps (including gravs) the guy who helped lost all the main of caps and he had left some few stuff near MS.
The luky stuff of the game is what i send the MS in the middle and when they finish to kill all our caps i get the MS realy close of all enemy fighters, so i transfer my rus to my allyes and i scuttle the MS like a Hude P.B. you can belive me if i say you i killed more than 150 ships in this scuttle, was beautifull!!!! afhter the third ally started to atac with all his fleet, he killed 3 MS easly and we won game.

5-Getting my 1# in ladder with Gravs in subjugate

4-Wining skilled players using swarm with P.B.

Well....

I wouldn't really call this a "DEFINING" moment but it does bring me satisfaction. I have never really actually hated anyone from HW, but there have been a few ppl that are real dolts.

You know them, Redstar, EcHo, and Ahab. These three manchowder guzzlers have always been there to lie, annoy ppl, and start crap w/ friends and HW collegues of mine.

Through all of their bragging and shlt talking, I take personal satisfaction in knowing I have beaten the holy shlt out of all 3 of them in ladders and 1v1's. You guys can talk all the crap you want to...you aint got shlt on me, or my friends =)

1- Vs Joe, we were fighting for more than 1 hour, we get some battles Ion frigate vs Asault frigate, we did absolutly evrything in this game i remeber!!

I've had many of "defining moments" in Homeworld... I can't count the # of ladder games that I have enjoyed... as well as 2 vs 2 games.

#1 The first time that I beat the great defender swarmer Mouseguru... the first time we played. I was VERY new to the game but figured caps and gravs were the way to go. I ended up beating him with 1 assault and 1 grav.. took over an hour on one of the smallest ladder maps out there.

#2 The day that my smurf newbie partner and I played frstkor13FL and SirMolle... Molle wasn't quite FL then and I was at the peek of my game. It was talas 2 vs 2 with frstkor hosting and I was the 4th to join so I knew it would be hard. I did a defender swarm thinking that frstkor would swarm the crap out of me. But it wasn't him that was doing the swarming... it was Molle. I was double teamed by 2 of the greatest players to ever play this game.. one a complete bomber swarm the other with a fat lightwall and assaults to back them up. I held my own... taking Molles swarm down and battling frsts lightwall without losing one collector the whole time. My smurf partner was Frisky who Molle took for a newbie and decided to leave alone for now. We ended up winning but not by much...I always hated the mothership scuttle technique. But that day I had taken on a 2 vs 1 of the best in the game and held my own.. thats when I knew I was good at this game.

This game was a pasttime at one time for me... I stayed up until 4 in the morning playing it missing school and such.. Will never forget some of the games..

One of the best is when I figured that I wasnt a big n00b and did a 1v1 ladder with evilguts and I actually won with my cheap ass talas strat. Evil said gg and I said gg then thats when I started keeling a lot. I joinned chiken was a moments but now im not chiken anymore so its all good. I am outta this game a lot of the time but still cyber with frst on a daily basis.

I guess I have a very similar list to Toxic. Breaking the top ten was a big one.

Perhaps I have the fondest memories of two games (I have had many good ones) .

One was versus Reki on Radial. He went frig rush and I corved him. He ended up with no collectors but 4 ions and I had a small wall. In the end, after a LONG fight, his ions managed to kill my MS. But it took forever. I just LUV the long fights.

The other was when I beat MouseGuru on Subj. I was shocked. Stunned is a better word for it. Was a mouse signature strat. I just out did him.

Unfortunately, I have had soon many VGG and Exceptional Good Games it would take too long to list them all.

Thanks to all those greate players that helped me get to where I am! The list is quite long.

wtf... do ppl just forget about DK hello i crashed the rooms 7 hours STRAIT one time... i have had more names than there are chinese... i mean COME ON!!! One thing i really do own ...

hmmm my moment would have to be SunRA(me) MoonRA(venus) vs Frisky and FRST.... me and venus both go vets... frisky and frst both go caps... we battle for 45 minutes for some reason frst leaves my vets alone cause i guess he thinks his ff and frisky's gravs got them... me adn venus manage to jack up frisky and she has like 19supports (most stolen) 2 assualts (stolen) 1 ion (stolen) we get frisky all dead... then she slowly picks off frst... frst SCUTTLES kills EVERYTHING she has somehow (gj frst awsome move) so then my 3 minelayrs in doc take abot 30 minutes to kill Frisky while venus's 3 heavy's and 2 reapair vets hold everything else off ... all and all that game lasted about 105 minutes... best game of my damn life... GG... i miss venus

I can't even begin to post all of my defining moments, but the first one that I can remember was beating frst on sub, If I remember right, me and him were going at it with vette wall. Then after about 25 min and a loss of 30+ vettes I finally killed off his vettes, I was only left with 4 light and 2 heavy and 1 mulit. He then pop out of no where 2 assult figs, right after I saw the assult figs I hurried and built ions, frst first have the advantage because he had 2 assult figs out already. Without any hesitation I use my vettes to kill coll and used ions to kill sf. After another 30 min he was reduce to nothing and the rest is history.

I dont remember any of that. Actually, the only subjugate game i remember playing vs you was a ladder that synced so we played a talas instead.

My entrance into BDU

I challenged BDU_Targeter to a game to see if i had the stuff to enter the great NHC clan.

He went swarm (never seen it before till then) and i went sneeki trikkie cloakers and hv.vttes...plunked my cloakers into cloak mode so he never saw them and then sat them infront of my launch bay and launched my hv.vettes cloaked when he approached with his swarm.

Ghyyeeeeehahaeheheh...can you say burst fire? (course, i lost cause i forgot to place my vettes on F2 and i wasn't good enough anyways, but it was fun to ambush his swarm)

I actually had about 4 spectators watching as well.
