The D|S have their server public sometimes. I did 3 hours on it today with about 4 or 5 D|S, 4 Dr.s and various other clan members - all just playing pick up games. I learned a bucket load from watching good players so I thought I would post it while its fresh in my mind. The server is at:

Medics
Many games we had at least 3 medics. If you're fast with the needle they cant keep 3 down, as soon as your buddy revives you go get the other medic who is down - sounds simple. Key thing is that they treat medics like gold. They go back for them, they revive them first and they protect them. I think we should start to think about planning around medics more instead of an eng charging with everybody chasing. If the medic goes down everybody waits. Focus on keeping our medics alive. Goes without saying hardly ever had to ask for ammo. If your in a firefight and 3 medics are laying down healthpacks its strong backup.
Forget Stealth
Most of the assaults were all out frontal attacks over the top on Assault; forcing the allies back to their hangar. Sometimes a couple of guys went under as an aside and stole it but it was mostly out in the open - sheer strength of teamwork and those medics. Snipers were no problem - somebody would go down but then the other guys would wax him while the medics revived.
Crossfire
They spread to each have a different angle on the target (avoids panzer kill) - and all fired at same one. If the target tried to hide they usually would be exposed to somebody. They also try to get on different elevations - that way they fire over the top of each other - your teammates dont get killed by FF. Use crates, vehicles. They were getting on top of crates I couldnt jump onto - definitely worth working on movement and jumping skillz.
Not many specialty weapons
Almost all play revolved around grenades and gunfire - basics. Anybody using anything fancy was too slow. Maybe one panzer. But that slow recharge time leaves you jumping around for a minute trying to kill 5 guys with a luger.......
Aim
When I was n limbo following peeps I was impressed with the aiming. A lot of 3 bullet bursts. They'd be looking for next target confident they'd nailed the first one after one burst. A lot of crouch and shoot also. We should practice on each other.
It all sounds kinda obvious but the skill of those guys added to these basic principles is very hard to combat. Seems that its worth practising basic movement and firing skills and being a good medic for a while.
Thinking about what we should do:
Work on supporting each other more and dont get separated from the medics
Have more medics
Practice moving, jumping and aiming
Play on that server sometimes while its public
Play more going head to head rather than trying to sneak up to an objective
Any thoughts?
