  • Kazza, Morpheus and Grokster users ...

Some fella in .tk has newtered the nasty shit in Kazaa to create Kaza Lite. This is Kazaa without ads.

His site also pimps the ad/spyware site 'supatrik', which can piss off nasty ads from several sites.

I've been toying with both and works a treat.

Basically the kazaa, morpheus and grokster proggies are the same dog but different fleas. All have varying levels of ad/spyware, all use the same network.

For access to even more files/users, I've been using limewire to access the old gnutella network that napster used. The new version of limeware supports multiple stream download and you can uncastrate the bandwidth limit, I'll let u work that one out for urself tho.

None of this will be news to a few of you, a shiload of it was for me, for those like myself - well enjoy.

BTW, try running THIS spyware detector on ur hard drives and memory.... It found 39 of the lil fucks on my comp....

hehe nice 2 see you are still keeping track of these little demons called spyware metho, the main 1 (which many ppl dont know about) is within windows itself, to find the little git-

first disconnect from the internet and close browser
make sure you have 'show all files' in folder options ,if not you can turn it on by start/settings/folder options/view ,check the 'show all files ' box.
next open windows explorer goto c/windows/temp internet files/ content I.E5
look in this folder and you will see a file called 'index.dat' ,open this with wordpad and you will see a list of every site you have been 2 , clean up progs DO NOT delete this, you can delete this 2 get rid of , but remember that windows will recreate this file everytime you reboot so you have to delete the bitch every few weeks or pron sites visited, exp user can do this auto by adding comand line 2 autoexe,if you have win 95/98 or me and want to know how to make win do this auto on boot ask me on won,if u dont have basic comp skillz or dont know ur ar5e from ur elbow plz dont ask as my language has been known to offend timid individuals.

The index.bat spyware MAY only be for earlier versions of IE ... I'm running IE6 on win2k and am unable to find the file, either through temp internet files or through a search.

(yes i have view all files on.)

I'm thinking it may be 5.0 and 5.5 only.

mmm i'm running IE6 and 98 myself and still have this file , maybe its only a prob in 95/98/me ? .ACK I JUST NOTICED ,ME A DOLTORING FOOL THE FILE IS CALLED
INDEX.DAT not .bat , look again. will make change 2 other post.
when u try 2 open this file if it says 'file in use'blah blah
just copy/paste/rename the file into my docu then open with wordpad ,i guess windhoes dont like you messing about in its nether regions.

Mags, there are several reasons why peeps try to completely stealth their machines. Privacy is jus one. Some dont like giving away something for nothing, others enjoy the challenge of making their comps completely invisible on the net. At least you get to know a lil more about computers and the shit that makes em tick.
