  • Great Memories

I?ve taken up the habit taking walks at night, it?s kinda fun tough it has been getting rather cold lately. Was a few miles out in the wilderness tonight, I stopped and laid down on a rock and looked up at the stars. A cold breeze blowing over me, one of the few positions my back is comfortable in?. Due to the way the mountains are formed, the entire night sky was in my vision. Absolutely wonderful? I?ll remember that time for years?

    Just wanted to share this?

Post a Great Memory of your own.

The first time I got behind the wheel of a car after getting my license. I was finally free to go where I please, and the first thing I did was go to my best friend's house, pick him up, and a couple other close friends. We wound up playing 18 holes of golf. It was a hell of a day.

After 23 hours of watching my wife in labor. Collin, my son, was born. The burst of joy in my heart as I saw him laying there on my wife as they cut the cord is a moment in time that will always remind me how precious life is.

sitting on a rocky beach in south-west france at night, watching how little phosphorecent plancton glows bright blue where the crash of the waves is biggest.

Kush - I'm familiar those brief moments where life's stresses are peeled away, layer by layer, then relish the experience to just be content with being. It could be a starry night lying upon a rock in the mountains, it could be walking along the beach at dusk; no matter what the circumstances are, we should always make opportunities to distance ourselves from the pressures of our hectic lifestyle and appreciate the simple experience of being alive and well.

On the whole it's a great reward to come across moments such as the one you've shared. I just wish there was a bottle of it available at the supermarket....

"Enlightened Lager: Every sip peels away another layer"

Hmm, perhaps that would suit better as a foreplay lubricant ?

A moment in time that will forever be burned into my mind was when I met Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails for the first time. It was down in the Flats of Cleveland at an after show party. All I remember when I went up to him for the first time to introduce myself was how surreal the moment seemed, it was like a dream. I got to meet and party with him 3 more times after that but none of those experiences come close to the first time we met.

D: alcohol, coffee and other ritual crutches are often coined "social lubricants" ie not meaning to reduce friction but to reduce inhibitions.

nothing can top the feeling you get when your child is born.
