    Customizing Windows

    A while back, reki showed me how to make my pc look like a mac using window blinds. After that I was all about customizing my pc, cuase i hate the way xp looks =/. After using there freeware for months, i decided to buy the stardock central app http://www.stardock.com/products/sdcentral/, which came with a bunch more useful tools like desktop X and object bar. All add to the amount of customization you can do to your pc.

    I was cursious if anyone else uses this and what there pc looks like. heres mine...

    The first thing I did when I installed XP a few years back was to turn off all the whizbang UI features and roll the style back to classic '98. I'm just totally not into having such a distracting desktop when I have to design other ppl's shit all day long.

    I'm quite comfy with the ol '98 windows look; just-the-facts-maam interface with no distractions.

    Having said that, I think ur desktop looks damn fine rules; no doubt having ur nose burried in coding apps all day is kinda boring visually. Having ur own comp looking a millions bucks is prolly a refreshing change from work

    p.s. I wish you guys with huge monitors and young eyes who run resolutions of 45000px x 30000px would reduce the size of ur screen captures to a more reasonable size. I can only see ur desktop using horizontal and vertical scrollers m8.

          Whats the common PF usage for windows, mine runs at 292 avg. Seems high? If i run all the customization it jumps to 350. But that seems high also. This computer came with 512 ram although ive upgraded to 1gig. I dunno if 292 avg is standard or how can i opimize my memory usage?

            Ive been wanted to chagne back to a mac look, only now did they have the look i really wanted, take a look...

            The screen save is really kool, since i have 2 monitors it goes over both as if it was one, its 3200 x 1200 between both monitors...
